Welcome to Dharma Reflections, my new blog series dedicated to discussions on how to live our Dharma in the 21st century. My hope for Dharma Reflections is that it will be a useful resource for meditating on the deeper meaning of Dharma, a place to share observations on the effects of Dharma in daily life and a forum for sharing practical tools and tips on living our authentic Dharma.

We will explore how the four cardinal principles of Dharma: Truth, Respect, Purity and Effort, are dynamic forces that can help us craft lives of meaningful purpose. We’ll discuss topical examples of Dharma and I will share my own observations of how I see Dharma in life, people, things and circumstances around me. I will also suggest books, films, art and music that illustrate the Dharma principles in action.

Dharma is a living model, a vital force for creating sustainable harmonious lives. Bhishma in the Mahabharata says that anyone “who upholds Dharma is held and sustained by Dharma”. I hope the blog will inspire your interest to study the topic and apply it in your life. I welcome you to the blog, and to my new website. I look forward to hearing from you and sharing ideas on how living Dharma offers new possibilities in a changing world.
